Isinusulong natin ang pagpasa ng Agriculture and Fisheries Extension Act at Agricultural Cooperatives Act upang maibalik sa national government ang agricultural extension services at maitatag muli ang Bureau of Agricultural Cooperatives. Layunin nitong makamit ang pangmatagalang food security at gawing mas abot-kaya ang pagkain para sa bawat pamilyang Pilipino.

Ang Agriculture and Fisheries Extension Act (Senate Bill No. 1991) at Agricultural Cooperatives Act (Senate Bill No. 1990) ay hindi lamang magpapalakas sa ating mga magsasaka at mangingisda, kundi magpapataas din ng produksyon sa agrikultura at magpapahusay sa ating food supply chain.

𝗞𝘂𝗻𝗴 𝗴𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗼 𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗻 𝗺𝗮𝗸𝗮𝗺𝗶𝘁 𝗮𝗻𝗴 𝗳𝗼𝗼𝗱 𝘀𝗲𝗰𝘂𝗿𝗶𝘁𝘆, 𝗸𝗮𝗶𝗹𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗮𝗻 𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗻 𝗺𝗮𝗴𝘀𝗶𝗺𝘂𝗹𝗮 𝘀𝗮 𝗺𝗴𝗮 𝘀𝗮𝗸𝗮𝗵𝗮𝗻 𝗮𝘁 𝗽𝗮𝗹𝗮𝗶𝘀𝗱𝗮𝗮𝗻. Sa ilalim ng panukalang Agriculture and Fisheries Extension Act, magkakaroon ng mas maayos na access ang mga magsasaka, mangingisda, at iba pang stakeholders sa sektor sa science-based farming technologies, climate-resilient production techniques, pananaliksik, pagsasanay, at technical assistance.

Layunin din ng panukala na palakasin ang koordinasyon ng mga national government agencies, state universities and colleges (SUCs), local government units (LGUs), at pribadong sektor upang matiyak na makarating sa mga komunidad ng mga magsasaka ang makabagong teknolohiya at ang kinakailangang pinansyal at teknikal na suporta.

Sa pamamagitan ng mas mahusay na agricultural extension services, inaasahang tataas ang ani, bababa ang gastos sa produksyon, mas makakaangkop ang sektor sa climate change, at mas mapapanatili ang tuloy-tuloy na produksyon ng pagkain.

Kaakibat nito ang panukalang Agricultural Cooperatives Act, na naglalayong palakasin ang mga agricultural cooperatives upang mas mapadali ang access ng mga magsasaka at mangingisda sa financing, post-harvest facilities, processing equipment, storage, transportasyon, at mga pamilihan.

Ang mga organisado at matatag na kooperatiba ay nagbibigay sa mga magsasaka ng mas malaking bargaining power, nagpapabawas sa pagdepende sa mga middleman, at nagbibigay-daan upang makinabang sila sa economies of scale.

no but beomgyu really suits a mystery show so well i’m so happy he got to be a part of one 🥹 people usually know him for his loud/playful self (and we LOVE that), but also one of my favorite things about him is how incredibly smart and reliable he is whenever strategy or deduction is involved and that’s so attractive.

he’s really observant, asks such clever and thoughtful questions (like we saw in the pixid impostor game), notices details that others might miss, and knows how to read the room. and i remember how he even would go viral in shows like sumbakkokjil or to-do’s better watch out because of how calm, reserved, and strategic he was.

he REALLY locks in and i love getting seeing this more analytical side of him. i’m really looking forward to seeing more people appreciate this side of him too 🥹
