Marathon is the best extraction shooter I've ever played. They're working on something later. Destiny nerds just don't have enough patience or attention span to wait.

@isolatedrook Everyone talks about the cost of the game and player counts.
It's a PvPvE extraction shooter and a good one at that. But player numbers aren't going to be crazy high and bungie knew this. It has difficult end game, it has a story, it has a purpose. This is more than AR can say.

Marathon has a whole story behind it. They should be pushing that side of it.

@aimkeyx That's the whole point of Arc Raiders. Just go play call of duty or fortnite if you want the constant PvP life.

I play marathon, I enjoy PvP. When I did play AR, I played PvE. AR is more casual & that's ok.

Marathon has an origin, story, endgame & awesome gun play. I never played D2, only D1. Probably wasn't the best idea to end it on bungie's part. There again, we don't know their plans. I just play a game and have fun. 🤷🏻

But it's an excellent game. It has a story, it has an end game and purpose. The hate for Bungie hurts it. Plus it's very competitive. Great game tho.
