A reminder that over the next couple of days NFL teams will have to release or waive over 1,180 players in order to reduce the roster to 53. Let's not forget these are people with actual lives and not just fantasy or video game characters.

Many of them will lose their job and will have to find a new career, away from what they've done for the past 15-20 years.

For around 500 of them, they'll get to stick around on practice squads but the rest will have to adjust to life without playing Football again, at least not in the NFL.

Let's try to show them respect in this process.
