6. We're behind.
So probably makes sense to have integrated US plan for blockchain by 2023, even as China publicly pilots BSN/DCEP, and Australia released national blockchain roadmap in early 2019 (this US legislation doesn't even mandate a roadmap, just the preceding research)
Thread: you didn't notice blockchain legislation baked into the $900B stimulus bill on pg. 3063–3067? https://t.co/AUl8HxhW7T. More relevant than you think re stimulus check receipt timelines, unbanked Americans, tx fees, and whether it's vaporware in 2020
Spoiler: it's not.
5. @Algorand (now)
USDC and @tether stablecoins both run on it. Would currently take 2 days to distribute stimulus to 150MM eligible Americans based on TPS. Transaction costs for ASAs on Algorand at 0.001 ALGO, so total tx cost $50K at today's price, or $500K at a 10x price.

@PeterAttiaMD@IamLaurenMiller since you're big on prevention and #GivingTuesday is around the corner, any charities you think are doing good work supporting prevention on the big 3: cancer, neurodegenerative, ASCVD?
