True Life: I'm a Gamer

[801 pel @slowbrosif]

My apartment, known as the SLAGZ (salt lake autonomous gaming zone), is a gaming safe space FREE from the reigns of BIG GAMING. Gamers in this space are guaranteed the freedom to partake in the TRUE SPIRIT of gaming without the oppression of BIG GAMING.

@MLB We all knew it was over the second Abreu stepped on the mound

@Hidayet00163095 @ignatius_en Yeah, that's a part of it. Why would one not consider the cost of trial?

[801 pel @slowbrosif]

@Peter_8318 @ignatius_en Yeah good luck with that. Your idealized version of the world is not reality.

Final Fantasy V has been boring af tbh. It's been hard to get into.

I finished IV and thought it was just okay. Unpopular opinion, but III has been my favorite so far from I-V.

[801 pel @slowbrosif]

Munetaka is going to be something special this season. Being on the White Sox might just allow him to play to his fullest potential without any pressure.

[801 pel @slowbrosif]

I feel bad for Skenes. Hard inning to watch as a pirates fan. Really hope this isn't a sign for the rest of the season to come. Cruz fucked up bad too.

[801 pel @slowbrosif]

Final Fantasy 2 does kinda suck though. Just beat it. FF1 is better.

@ThatBeing_Said Oh that's just Sir Asmon's homonculus

My man is gonna win a major this year 💪

There has been talk lately about multiple top players taking a step back from Melee.

I get where they're coming from. Over the years, your passion can go down. The people you used to know or play with stop playing. You start finding other priorities.

I'm sorry to disappoint the haters, but I'm not quitting anytime soon. Why? Because I enjoy it. It's as simple as that.

I think if you're not enjoying it anymore or want to prioritize other things, that's perfectly fine. If you still love Melee and want to play, do it.

I'm still planning on going to most of the biggest tournaments this year, starting with Genesis. There is a lot to look forward to. Can't wait

But sadly Duke is dead, quake is basically dead, and Diablo would be better off dead

@Anconoid69 @OhgirlNC I played against a falcon as Zelda that literally did nothing but full jump between platforms and spam dair. It was by far lamer than Zelda. And then you get falcons who do nothing but spam fair, the same thing people complain about Zelda for. Players are lame not the game.

@skiplogic @Swurv__ Yeah I had a horrible time with it

Doesn't help you need a super computer to run it above 30 fps with even decent graphics settings
