Carl

Mini painter recently returning to the hobby 👨‍🎨 currently working on 40k Dark Angels + a few Lotr/other bits. It takes me AGES to finish anything…

[Carl @slowbrushcj]

Super pleased with this limited #darkangels #spacemarine Chaplain.
.
It’s been sat on my shelf for ages and only just got round to painting it after it was released last year. Now to just finish the #deathwing he’ll be leading!

Bravest* marine in the imperium? 😅

Slow and steady progress on my Sagitaur.

Though I’m starting to really enjoy painting faces. Long may they continue to turn out like this for me 😂 #warhammer40k #WarhammerCommunity #leaguesofvotann

[Carl @slowbrushcj]

Two more #cathonianberserkers in all their stimmed up glory!

Again, working on skin tones here and think I’m pretty happy. Thoughts welcome #WarhammerCommunity #warhammer40k #leaguesofvotann

[Carl @slowbrushcj]

Here’s this very happy #votann #cathonianberserker for your #hobbyfriday all!

I absolutely love this sculpt and, though it’s taken a while, it was great fun to paint. What do you think? #WarhammerCommunity #leaguesofvotann #warhammer40k #PaintingWarhammer

[Carl @slowbrushcj]

Back to work on the #leaguesofvotann first #cathonianberserker done! Just base and the other 4 now… slow going but going none the less… #WarhammerCommunity #squats #40k

[Carl @slowbrushcj]

@Garfytwit No secrets here!

[Carl @slowbrushcj]

@warhammer Thank you!! 😍

[Carl @slowbrushcj]

@JemDuducu Thank you Jem!

[Carl @slowbrushcj]

Say hello to Drûkh Skêyfyr, the most judgemental Kahl you could wish for… and quite possibly the most well painted miniature I have ever completed. Quite chuffed if I say so myself 😅 #WarhammerCommunity #leaguesofvotann #squats #warhammer40000 #40k

[Carl @slowbrushcj]

@realironhand Thank you so much!

[Carl @slowbrushcj]

[Carl @slowbrushcj]

@ChrisFallon Thanks Chris!

[Carl @slowbrushcj]

Slow progress once again but really loving the #leaguesofvotann minis!

Particularly enjoyed the edge highlighting challenge on this #einhyrchampion I ‘think’ I’m improving… albeit at a snails pace! 😅 #WarhammerCommunity #warhammer40k #PaintingWarhammer

[Carl @slowbrushcj]

Finally finished one of the kin completely!

Slow progress but I will get this #leaguesofvotann force up and running!

@WarComTeam Some hobbits, dwarves and an ent for you 🎨🖌

[Carl @slowbrushcj]

@WarComTeam Think I was most proud of this moody chap. Particularly the leather and the timer ☺️

[Carl @slowbrushcj]

@WarComTeam Here’s a few!

[Carl @slowbrushcj]

Been trying to work on a number of skin tones for my #leaguesofvotann and here are two tests. One paler and one darker and I’m so happy with the results! What are your thoughts #WarhammerCommunity ?

Still some work to do but my faces are looking better every time 😍
