NSSLHA’s undergrads recently hosted a Pet a Puppy Day on campus. The group has been working to raise funds for Smile Train, an international children’s charity that provides cleft lip and palate surgeries to children around the world. The event was a great success!🐾

This weekend, several second-year grad students attended an interactive seminar organized by @PassyMuir to learn about strategies for assessment and treatment following tracheostomy. We also ran into a few @WCU alumni at the seminar!

WCU CSD graduate students attended the trach-vent course put on by Nashville Speech & Swallowing Specialists this past weekend in Nashville, TN where they got hands on suctioning and placing speech valves. A special congratulations to Lindsey Lail who won a scholarship!
