@ohpatra @EvidenceRobot @ohpatra, I would always argue that a systematic review can be done with a narrative synthesis and can have value even in the absence of a meta-analysis! Why don’t you think this is the case?

As many chronic pain patients suffer from posttraumatic pain, psychological trauma responses may be present, too! For this reason, I attended this year’s #ESTSS2019 with a number of my colleagues. Particularly, I enjoyed the work of Zahava Solomon on trauma and premature aging!

Earlier this week, I visited the Danish Medicine and Health Authorities (da: Sundhedsstyrelsen) to discuss challenges and solutions for the pain area in Denmark from a patient perspective! One point: More knowledge is needed!

Today I’m part of the work group in the Danish Medicine and Health Authorities in Copenhagen discussing how the Parliament will get the most out of the budget. First headline is that there’s still a massive need for information about what chronic pain is/does!
