Sometimes the Lord asks us to step into responsibilities that feel bigger than we are. In those moments, I treasure the counsel, “Trust in the Lord” (Proverbs 3:5–6) and the Savior’s promise, “Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you” (John 15:16).

When you feel you are not good enough for the task you have been called to do, remember: The Lord’s confidence gives you the ability to boldly move ahead. President Thomas S. Monson taught, “Whom the Lord calls, the Lord qualifies.”

Trust in the Lord.

Offer what you have and let Him make it perfect.

Move forward with humility and courage.

He will strengthen your works and magnify your consecrated efforts.
