A month after the first email, we got another one saying our issue was resolved and payouts will be released 🙌
To wrap up, make sure you keep refund rate below 10%. ESPECIALLY important if you've recently launched, as your denominator is still small so % can spike easily
3. OBSESSED over the first session experience. Most refunds were people who used the app once then forgot about the trial. So the only time we have to impress them is that first session. We shipped a lot here, and it also had secondary effects of increasing trial-to-paid %
Eventually I realized that the cost savings of no PAAS would only be felt if I really started to scale, so I decided to kick the can down the road. Until then, good old familiar Heroku to stay fast and nimble :(
Even though I was able to get something deployed and working, every time I ran `kamal deploy` the new container failed to come up and the deploy failed. I had to do `kamal remove` first then `kamal deploy`. That made the app go down for too long during the deploy
@Brandon5mith Interesting that the daily goal became negative over the month. Do you think https://t.co/mGJ01NfsSV app could cause anxiety as well? Maybe keeping the challenges short (2 weeks) could help?
@ChadZapfe Do you want to make it interesting and do this with money involved? 😆 We just launched https://t.co/mGJ01Ng0It and I've been having a lot of fun doing fitness challenges with my friends on it
