@GolfweekNichols@hannahbggg Agree, but the players ALL need to buy into the fan experience. They are way too aloof and self involved with their personal entourages. The PGA is a different breed, women have to think outside the box and try new business models.. Make it more FUN to be onsite!!
@CPowers14 Mel
Is becoming a huge voice for women’s golf, and we need it! The current tread is soooo boring on tv and even more so in person. I’ve attended, I’ve volunteered, and I’m a declining viewer.. we need more player stories, more drama( we know it’s there) more personality!
@GolfweekNichols Yup, biggest hurdle is getting fans there… we feel unappreciated as supporters.
Parking, transportation, and volunteers need to be treated better. Free passes for friends, nice uniforms, volunteer party…maybe music performance.. PGA has been successful in this area..
@kclairerogers Shoots 58, no caddy, plays it in 3.5 hours and smiles at all the course employees. Tips the cart girl too.
He is very humble and perfection driven. His wife is his rock too!
Gotta love this “ kid”. I saw him
Play in Peoria rookie year with the Angels..😇 Huge press following..
@deanacusmaximus@GolfweekNichols Yup, possibly, we experienced it in 2024 first hand.Twice.. getting off the RTJ property after opening ceremonies, then the next morning “ not” getting to the venue. Biggest hot mess sporting event I’ve ever attended…🤬@LPGA really botched it!
@AlanShipnuck Read this book shortly after it was published. Really opened my eyes to the USGA and all
That it involves.. 🤔wonder how it’s different 23 years later?
