At the conclusion of the State Meet, the Jr. Bills had a total of 24 points, leaving us 7th of 67 qualifying teams. This is our highest finish since 2022 (6th).
Each one of these young men, and the 100+ who were on the team this year, contributed to this incredible effort!
Additional results from yesterday:
-Jackson wrapped his single-day 32/16/800 triple, taking 4th in the 800m!
-Nick Ahlheim took 8th in the 800m, his second all-state medal of the meet!
-Josh Abbott finished Top 11 in the State in the javelin.
In the 1600m, Jackson was disqualified for celebrating at the finish line. He would have finished 1st otherwise in 4:08. Warnicke Beatty finishes 8th, All-State, as a sophomore.
4x200 of Spencer Williams, Chino Lezieanya, Quincy Jones, and Harry Holmes run a strong race and finish 9th, .04 away from All-State. A great effort from all 4; congrats on a great season, and congrats to Chino on an amazing four years on the program โ!
