Socialism is the dictatorship of the proletariat and a transitory period to communism. The transition from capitalism to socialism is never peaceful. In settler-colonial countries, such as the United States and Israel, the socialist revolution must be a decolonial one, with the advanced elements of the colonized working class (Palestinians, Indigenous Americans, Puerto Ricans, Black Americans + other diaspora, Hawaiians, etc.) being the vanguard, and the land question settled. Reparations/damages for the slavery of Black American people and the occupation/destruction of Hawaii and Puerto Rico will also be assessed and taken as a matter of paramount importance, along with the countries which have suffered crimes at the hands of the US. The US itself is a criminal entity founded by slave owners and other criminals, and must go the way of the Russian Empire. Descendants of settlers will not be deprived of democratic and civil rights, nor expelled, but they will not be allowed to monopolize the commanding heights of the new order and set up a new white supremacist regime. The revolution must be socialist in orientation and outlook, because history has shown that neocolonialism is the result when it is not. History has also shown that the revolution must be continued all throughout the socialist period, otherwise a revisionist line will take control and the revolution will backtrack until either restoration of capitalism as in China, or collapse as in the USSR.
