Imagine writing a PhD thesis so foundational that the title is literally just the name of the entire field of study.
Paul Dirac, 1926: "Quantum Mechanics."
My annoying commie take is that “late stage capitalism” is meaningless theory slop that doesn’t actually describe a qualitatively new stage of capitalism and tries to replace the use of “monopoly-capitalism” because the latter has actual explanatory power.
Karl Marx is not Jesus Christ. His words are not absolute unless they are scientifically verifiable. All honest Marxists understand that his vision for socialist transition was sketchy at best. Lenin and Mao contributed extensively to the elaboration and application of Marxism.
Las tesis no son solo para el público, sirven para demostrar que un estudiante ya no es solo consumidor de conocimiento, sino que puede proponer una idea académica. Legitiman que alguien puede investigar sin supervisión constante y domina estándares disciplinarios.
How come these men never think to sell their own bodies?
Why is it always women having to pay the price with their bodies, and souls for both the lack of protection from their fathers and the degenerate freaks willing to violate innocent girls.
@sofiafjtfhyrs + i don't rely on them anymore which happens to everyone, you'll figure out what works best for you!
my specific process usually boils down to: gesture (exaggerating it as much as you can, the pose becomes stiffer as you render) > structure/anatomy > detail
@sofiafjtfhyrs thank you again, such kind words <3
i've began studying from multiple anatomy books — i have a drive folder of if you'd like the link — and then just applied it to whatever pose i needed to break down
Hegel, Marx, Sartre, and Fanon each show that there is no “dialectical method.” Methods are themselves enveloped by a certain form of thinking. Immanent Critique is a method. Phenomenology is a method. Psychoanalysis is a method. Each of them expresses Dialectical Reason.
Finally a good marxist analysis on Mexico.
Mexico had TWO decolonial revolutions- one against spain and another against comprador elites and feudal remnants.
Mexico’s history is complex and to apply what’s happening in the U.S. to Mexico is just un-dialectical and lazy.
