when you think you’re finally recovering and maturing and then all of a sudden you’re back at the very beginning in the exact same mental state you were in when you were 13-14
@Druga0Angel@ladybuglovebugg the complexities of queer identities and life in this context are not common knowledge, always take comments like this with a grain of salt ESP on tiktok. like obviously its ignorance?? this has nothing to do with my original comment, i was just pointing out the false equivalence
@Druga0Angel@ladybuglovebugg lol not at all, i fully support dating within specific groups and know lesbiphobia is very real. your grievances are valid, but these bisexuals are either bating for reactions or disagree/don’t understand the concept as a whole. that comment prolly came from a teenager
It’s strange and beautiful to realise that you can be simultaneously proud of how far you have come and aware that you have barely scratched the surface of who you could become.
Becoming less reactive is a big part of growth and decreasing stress. Sometimes this type of avoidance can be looked at as lack of interest or uncaring, but it isn't. If you let everything get you worked up, you're damaging your mind, body and soul.
I think I might be a horrible person to have as a friend. I don't take enough initiative to keep up with people and take them for granted. I tend to shut myself up in my own world and forget about people as a result. I don't know why I am this way. I'm sorry.
i'm functional enough on a daily basis that it's easy to forget how deeply traumatized i am until suddenly i'm 7 years old at work and everyone is my dad
@hotgirlsooya i see terfs the same as i see white feminists or anti-racist but sexist black men. as a black woman, i can recognize the violent oppression that impoverished black people experience worldwide while speaking on interpersonal sexism in our communities. this is literally one post
@hotgirlsooya last thing that is v important, i almost never speak on terfs outside of the internet because they dont make the laws that harm trans ppl, i advocate against transphobia of all kinds. im saying my frustration with other feminists who spread transphobic hate
@rRin444@hotgirlsooya in real life, i advocate against transphobia. i almost never speak on terfs because i know they hold no institutional power in comparison to transphobic + misogynistic men in power. currently, im on twitter complaining about a personal frustration i have. there’s a difference
@collide90613@HaifaWehbestan@hotgirlsooya it’s a frustration i feel based on my personal issue with what i see as hypocrisy. it is the same way i view white feminism or black men who advocate against racism but perpetuate sexism. i’m not advocating for imprisonment of terfs, im personally frustrated
one thing i learned from being sad is you just have to feel it and once you’re done, you just need to go out of the room because life is so much bigger than the room you’ve been living in. trust me, it works.
@HaifaWehbestan@hotgirlsooya two things can be important at the same time, are you not capable of complex thinking? “more upset” ≠ disregarding the violent harm trans women experience, it recognizes the other forms of violence present
