I stand with the brave women of Afghanistan who face guns, bullets, beatings and arrest, simply for saying no to forced hijab.
I tried to cover my face. I couldn't breathe behind that piece of cloth for even a few seconds. A total humiliation. And the Taliban is demanding Afghan women wear it for a lifetime.
To every Western politician who calls the burqa Afghan "culture" you’re better listen to Women, Afghanistan, and Iran, who lived under Islamic regimes. You're sitting in a parliament in a free country, with a salary and a vote and a podium calling this culture. This is a total betrayal to us who are wounded but unbowed to our oppressors.
Stop legitimizing Taliban. Be the voice of women of Afghanistan. Who wants to end this Apartheid regime.

The reward for your attacks on me, and on the Iranian opposition is what the Islamic Republic gives you. They put your praise on posters across the city. On the other hand, they’ve put a poster of me, with a noose around my neck, and the exact same words you used against me. You should be ashamed for feeding the Islamic Republic.
They have shutdown internet 90 million Iranians to solidify their narrative.
Your tactic looks very familiar, because it’s exactly what the Islamic Republic does. Using edited video to fit your narrative. You’ve never felt the daily brutality of the Islamic regime in Iran, never risked your life, but somehow you’ve built a whole brand around bullying those who have. Because you are a mouthpiece for the Islamic Republic.
While you were living comfortably in the West, we tried everything, nonviolent protests, civil resistance, risking our lives to change that regime.
But the regime imprisoned us, lashed us, and killed many innocent Iranians. That is why, I and millions of Iranians supported targeted action against khamenei and Islamic Regime not against our infrastructure and our people. Because When a regime shuts down every peaceful path, “thoughts and prayers” don’t exactly do the trick. While tens of thousands were massacred in Iran, you helped normalize the very terrorist regime responsible.
And here’s the part that really bothers you: I criticize power, Obama and even Trump. Because I’m not like you.
I don’t switch off my brain depending on who’s in office.
When they’re right, I say it. When they’re wrong, I say it louder.
That’s called integrity.
Just one note for next time:
If you’re going to come after an Iranian woman who’s actually lived it…
Maybe do your homework.
Because this time? Yeah, you picked the wrong one.
Now, enjoy the applause from a terrorist regime. You earned it.
I join leading organizations and experts around the world in calling for renewed global solidarity in support of the Iranian people, including:
• Protecting civilians
• Freeing political prisoners
• Restoring & protecting internet access
• Pursuing regime accountability
It's our responsibility to make the demands of the people of #Iran heard at negotiations between the #US and the Iranian regime: Release political prisoners, stop executions, open internet, stop repression.

Good news: U.S. efforts targeting the families of Iran’s ruling class are now going global.
The government of Dominica has revoked the citizenship of Abolfazl Shamkhani, son of Ali Shamkhani, after reports revealed he and his brother used Caribbean identities to acquire $29 million in luxury real estate in Dubai.
This follows a sweeping U.S. action: Washington sanctioned 115 individuals, entities, and vessels tied to a shipping network linked to Mohammad Hossein Shamkhani, described as one of the largest sanctions packages since 2018.
While ordinary Iranians face poverty and repression, regime insiders lived in extreme luxury, sparking outrage across the country.
The world is catching up with the hypocrisy of Iran’s regime, oppression at home, luxury for their children abroad.
Iranians are still living under a total #DigitalBlackout, and they are still executing, innocent protesters.
Please don’t stop talking about #Iran.

One side of our diaspora is working to “expose” Iranians who “manufactured consent” for war.
The other side of our diaspora is working to “expose” anyone who doesn’t like Trump & Netanyahu, & smears them as IRGC affiliates.
2 sides of the same coin, but they’ll never see it.
David Miller, a regular propagandist for the Islamic Republic and a notorious Jew-hater, posts a video of forced confessions that have been broadcast on regime TV.
For someone who talks about human rights all the time, David is aiding and abetting the regime’s lies and human rights abuses.
David apparently enjoys state-sponsored coercion and humiliation.
People are re-sharing IRIB footage of forced confessions obtained under torture on this app and it’s really quite shocking. I can only assume they are unaware of the Islamic Republic controlled state media’s practice of airing forced confessions…
Grausame Verhaftung, fehlende medizinische Versorgung, Folter!

Speaker of Islamic Republic’s parliament posts photo from flight to U.S. talks displaying pictures of the children killed in the Minab strike.
Noticeably absent are the photos of the tens of thousands of Iranians slaughtered by the regime in the January massacre.
