It was lovely to get the opportunity to present the research of @lauraktaylorPHD, @NearchouNiki and I, at the @socialpsychUK Thank you to all the wonderful women who helped us further our understanding of the power of women in community building on this island.

Someone's brand new (Stich) schoolbag and water bottle outside Queens. Security wouldn't hold on to it for the owner, so it's where I found it at the bus stop. I hope it gets reunited with whoever lost it. #lostproperty#Belfast#schoolbag
Women in Afghanistan are being obliterated—no voice, no face, no existence. The Taliban’s latest decrees are nothing short of barbaric: women banned from singing, reciting poetry, or even speaking aloud in public. Their faces and bodies must hidden from the world.
This isn’t just an Afghanistan tragedy; it is a stain on the global conscience, brought about by our failure to act.
A great privilege to speak & eat with Gazan photojournalist @azaizamotaz9 this evening, a key chronicler of this brutal war, who has made the world bear witness to the deepest injustices of our age. Dozens of Gazas journalists have been killed for the same.
@RichardJBrowne @setantaspup There is no such thing as an illegal person. You can do something illegal, but people aren't illegal. Ireland signed the Refugee convention. Therefore, it is legal for someone to come to Ireland and ask for international protection. Ireland can then accept or refuse them.
I'm asking for your thoughts and opinions about how women refugees and asylum seekers are integrated on the island of Ireland. This anonymous 5-10 min survey is part of a research study in the School of Psychology at UCD.

No possible ‘legitimate concerns’ to explain this one away- these are the actions of thick, pathetic lowlifes.
Luthfur & his team are widely admired by decent people on the Ormeau. Any information on these or any other losers crawling out from under rocks this week, contact PSNI
Around where I live, most people know me as a doggy man. One thing about being a doggy man is that the dogs need walked and so I get out and about in my local community of West Belfast and I see lots of people in our community.
I've seen it change in my lifetime... 1/5
Please avoid good v bad migrant narrative. Many asylum seekers who get their papers go on to open businesses, creat jobs, contribute to the economy. But also quite simply, they’re human beings, they have worth. Immigration is not the problem in our society, inequality is.
And this is a group of Irish 'patriots' marching, with Loyalists, one street parallel to the site of that bonfire 2 weeks later. Make it make sense. #RacismNotPatriotism
