I’m amazed at teacher contracts…specifically what little time (prep) is provided for teachers to actually get stuff done.

If teachers ONLY worked contractual hours, 90% of the needed work wouldn’t happen even for the most efficient ones. 🤔

I asked him why, he said

1 Class sizes are ridiculous

2 Zero accountability for parents, students 🙁

3 Too much testing 😤

4 Admin was overwhelmed & set up for failure 😨

5 Frozen salary, low pay

@breakfasttv Can Doug ford let the Ministry of Education buy some of the greenbelt that he then will release from the greenbelt for development so that they can get back the $$ taken from #onted ? Is this a thing? Oh wait -they need to attack teachers to forget about the greenbelt scandal!!!
