@Pulipati_@londyloo@rheum_cat Hi, thanks for your appreciation!! @rheum_cat linked over to my website -- the closest version of this notebook out of all my websites is linked below.

Throwback to ACR 2020, when Sumana Mahata @smahatamd created artwork, featured by Dr Fauci and on cover of all ACR notebooks mailed to us during pandemic. 🥹 I finally get to take in person ACR notes on it. Will never be at @rheum_cat note level, but it’s a start.

Chiming in to share this sketch I've been working on during my SICU stretch of 7 days straight immediately followed by 5 nights straight 😩. From right to left, "see one, do one, teach one"! A better caption in the post below.

“What I remember when you don’t wake” is an anesthesiologist’s reflection on the short, but meaningful dance we have with our patients, and what can happen when that dance ends in loss.
Read it in the latest volume of @IARS_Journals https://t.co/z8Vkg48jQi
Thank you-- I am so grateful that I am able to incorporate art into the practice of medicine! If anyone needs support or a cheerleader for your artistic endeavors in the medicine space, feel free to reach out.
Y'all the next gen is just awesome. In addition to residency @CenterRuhs, @smahatamd is also a graphic designer specializing in science-themed patterns! Check out her website here- https://t.co/TcHDSs3KwS
And her fab anatomy templates here-

It is surreal seeing my art on a journal cover--I've written a thread about the story behind the art already but every time I see it I'm excited anew. https://t.co/jDYkDwrNuh
Congratulations to Dr. Jeffrey Steinberg and team on making the cover of @NeurosurgeryCNS! Their study shows that direct transorbital embolization is safe and potentially curative for all Barrow-type carotid-cavernous fistulas (CC fistulas) ➡️ https://t.co/swzH1Ixnrd

All this to say thanks to @UCSDNeuroSurg for the opportunity and for not only teaching me about neurosurgery but also serving as an example for the kind of leader I'm striving to be through residency and beyond.
This @NeurosurgeryCNS cover was created from a figure I drew of the Barrow types of carotid-cavernous fistulas and one s/p transorbital embolization with @UCSDNeuroSurg -- I think is the first time my art has been used for a cover! I have a story time about this process:
There's this concept of good leaders never having tasks that are beneath them, and I'm just reflecting back to a long zoom call with an attending running through the knowledge behind the figure and feeling grateful. Time is so valuable, especially in these spaces.
We'd love to see you! Here are some pictures of me and my fellow interns having a blast in the few months we've been here. Wishing I had a picture of everyone wearing the scrubs caps I've made thus far!
@ani_cdotes I used Courier size 10 and it approximated things decently but you can always double check by printing out your app to check once you've put it in ERAS
@sahitmenon @NIMHgov @SarahLisanbyMD First of all congratulations!! and second of all the color printing is what got me tearing up. I hope you have a lovely year at the NNU!
Graphical abstract by yours truly! I enjoyed figuring out how to depict the key points in this study clearly within the confines of the space (note the "split screen" colonoscopies to save room)
