Respectfully, your Master’s and PhD are impressive, but you’re wearing a garment that’s been illegal in all French public spaces since 2010 (€150 fine). No employer can legally let you wear it in any public-facing job; that’s not Islamophobia, that’s the law.

France demands assimilation, not multiculturalism. Visible religious symbols are banned for everyone in public and professional life (Catholic nuns, Sikh turbans, Jewish kippas, all of them). No exceptions.

By choosing the niqab, you’ve made yourself unemployable in 99.9 % of jobs. That’s a consequence of your decision, not discrimination. If the niqab is non-negotiable, look for remote work or move to a country where it’s allowed. Expecting France to change its century-old secular laws for you isn’t realistic.
