@aftncanada earlier this year you mentioned a single by Perfumed Galaxy - I've been trying to find out more but have failed. Was it on vinyl? Also any idea where I might be able to turn up copies of Ultracore that came with AFTN in the early 90s?
@aftncanada Cheers - just after messaging you a mate pointed me towards this page - Kirkcaldy Bands Index Page which has all of their tapes digitised as well as loads of other bands from Kirkcaldy, Glenrothes, Methil and Leven
@davidstoker_lfc would you be the same David Stoker who put out the Mr Bismarck's Electric Picklehaube fanzine about Meadowbank Thistle in the 90s? I'm trying to track down a copy of issue 1
@gregmoodie would you be the same Greg Moodie who played guitar in a band called The Kites in the late 80s? I'm trying to track down a copy of their single The B-Picture
@PerthSconeMed called 'Praise the Lord in Renew' and I wondered if the Ailsa McGregor from your practice was the named performer? I am trying to locate a copy of the single. Many thanks.
@PerthSconeMed Hello. I collect private press vinyl releases (especially singles) released in Scotland through the 70s and 80s. A friend recently made me aware of a possible single put out via St. Saviour's school in Dundee with a Paul Lothian and an Ailsa McGregor
@lech1961 I've just come across an issue of a fanzine called Our Day Will Come and really enjoyed it. Was that yourself who wrote an article in it (Issue 12)? Do you know who was behind the zine - really keen to try and find more issues!
@tonystephen would you be the Tony Stephen who was in Dawntreaders and produced the Cannonball fanzine/magazine? Trying to find a copy of the Dawntreaders 'Today' 45/vinyl single and copies of Cannonball as I collect private press Scottish indie releases from 70s/80s/90s
@tonystephen Hi Tony. I e-mailed you my address but haven't heard back recently. Are you still able to send on a copy of the 45? It would be much appreciated if it were possible
@tonystephen That would be wonderful if you did. I've tried a cursory look online but couldn't find any trace apart from a mention on a Facebook page that it existed
@lorrainesblog good morning! I have been reading some old issues of a fanzine called Boa and it namechecked what I think is your fanzine Botramaid. Are there any copies still lurking around? I've love to read them
@scotmack14 Hi Scott, thanks so much for checking and for sharing the posters, they are brill. I love the one you used for the cover of issue 7 in particular. I'll keep keeping an eye out on eBay to see if any turn up!
