Especially women. You post a video on TikTok or other social media platforms dressed almost naked, and you start getting all manner of compliments. Chill, you're not that pretty. Don't be fooled by horny men lurking around.
"You can come for me with anything else, but you can't call me ugly. That's my biggest flex, period!"
But you're genuinely a 2/10. I don't know who must have lied to you. 😂
The internet has a way of making people feel far more important and classier than they really are. If you stay on social media for too long, you might forget what your reality is.
But who did this thing to most African Parents ?
They were literally against EVERYTHING except education and rel!gion.
You try to gym ? They’re against it
Playing ball ? Frown at it.
Want to be a musician ? Wahala!
Want to go and see your friends ? Problem.
Watching TV, body go dey bite them.
If it’s not about going to school or going to church/mosque back then, they don’t want to hear anything else.
As much as we want to understand that ‘they didn’t know better’, they were a little too closed-minded abeg.
Heck even when you’re just sleeping/resting, they complain like you’re committing an offence.. tf!
ok, let me teach you how the world actually works. first off, there is no such thing as karma.
you can be an amazing person and get punished your whole life for it or you can be a horrible person and get rewarded for it. the only thing that matters is your energy and where it goes and everything, i mean everything, is trying to take away your energy.
politics, news, money, your favorite show, your favorite sports team, clubs, political movements, fifa, social media, all of these are like entities that need your energy in order to survive. whether you give them hate or love, it doesn't matter. what matters is they took your energy and there are horrible people on this planet that benefit from these entities & they will poke you in every single direction until they get a reaction.
you can love them, hate them, go to war with them, it doesn't matter cos they already took your energy.
the worst part is they will take it and they will live a life that is 10x better than yours even if you are a good person and they're not. so the only real skill in life is protecting where your energy goes. a lot of people still aren't going to understand this tweet anyway.
but just share it aggressively to help others understand the mechanics and dynamics of life.
The best sex comes from situationships, one-night stands, and with people you probably shouldn't be having it with, in places you probably shouldn't be doing it.
That guy who is just a friend is likely to fuck you better than your boyfriend if he ever gets the chance. That girl who knows your girlfriend will ride you to hell every chance she gets.
Life is too short to insist on turning every good experience into dating or a relationship. Let's just have sex, travel, and have the best time of our lives without defining what we have. I have personally experienced this, and there is no way I'm going back to being in a committed relationship. It saves you emotional baggage and heartbreak, and you get the best out of the other person.
There is no pretense, no drama. Every time you link up, it is mind-blowing SOS (Sex on Sight). We need to make committed relationships less and less popular. Our lives would be much better without them. I like you, you feel the same, we vibe, so what is stopping us from having the best time of our lives?
Not everyone has the capacity to be in a committed relationship, and because situationships and flings are still unpopular, many people, especially men, end up hiding under the guise of relationships just to get sex that they could have had without lying or promising a commitment they cannot keep.
Overinsistence on relationships is one reason we have so much heartbreak. Let's make amazing memories without worrying too much about what happens next. If it ends, it ends. Everyone can be happy that it happened and that we had the best time of our lives.
