PG is "not authorized" to provide food or lodging to the Jasper evacuees.

Alberta has requested we funnel them all to GP or Calgary.

Highway closures are pushing all Jasper traffic through BC. Jasper to Calgary is a 12 hour drive right now.

The mascot was part of the May Day Parade in Prince George soon after.
A statue of Mr. PG was placed in Prince George, standing 8 metres tall, in 1970.
