@alexbrasky I’m just confused by the Buffalo hate. I mean is it the “hate us cause you ain’t us”? Cause I just don’t get it. We’re watching football and cheering for our team who happen to also be good humans and it feels like literally everyone else including the league hates us. Why?
@Danielle1O19 There was a lot of deflecting. And that makes me mad. I hate being gaslit and lied to and then being made to feel crazy for questioning anything at all
so freaking annoyed of the fragile male ego. Suck it the fuck up and do what’s best for your franchise. Or sell it to someone who will. Also learn to read a room rather than listen to one guy
Betweeen the ding dong in the White House and the ding dongs in Buffalo this has really just been a rough year and an exceptionally difficult week. It’s Tuesday. Can’t wait to see how the dumpster fire continues
This might be a self-inflicted wound, but I don’t care.
The Bills PR team mishandled Damar Hamlin’s return at that playoff game.
They also mishandled McDermott’s firing.
What Bills PR continues to forget is that this is not a normal fanbase. A cookie-cutter approach does not work here. We are deeply and emotionally invested in this team.
Look how we react when finding ANYONE outside of Buffalo wearing a Bills logo. We love your mailroom guy. Josh Allen’s neighbor named Squirrel is still one of our heroes. There are no boundaries when it comes to how Buffalo connects to the Bills.
We treat this team like family. The organization needs to put in more effort to treat us the same way in return.
This has nothing to do with the decisions themselves. It has everything to do with how those decisions are communicated to the fans.
Waiting until Wednesday for a press conference is insane. This should have happened Monday morning.
We’re not stupid (some are), we have eyes, we have social media, and most of us have some sort of connection to an insider/employee.
Transparency is always important.
Tell us the truth. Be clear about what’s going on. And do whatever it takes to keep Bills Mafia as the 12th man on that EXTREMELY expensive new field!
My initial thoughts were the Josh signed off on firing Sean. But a few hours in without a press conference and no word from Beane/Terry combined with how emotional everyone was Sat-he doesn’t agree. We’ve seen the players’ posts of unhappiness. I’m sad. #gobills
Beane failed McDermott and set him up to take the fall. He should’ve been the one to go
Thank you for everything Sean. You weren’t the problem this year. Far from it. Best of luck elsewhere
