I’m a Twitter introvert. Last night I took SBLIV as an opportunity to actually share my opinions, connect with #MarketingTwitter & have fun.
Reminder that a response or a like go a long way to make someone feel like part of the convo. Thanks, @HashtagHeyAlexa & @ThatChristinaG.
@AndrewPrince16 10000% — Another (opposite) problem is images that are clickable but have no clear CTAs indicating they are links.
Heat map tracking insights are *chef’s kiss* for getting buy-in on changes for these things!
Nope nope nope nope nope sry nope. Ideas matter.
Without quality ideas, there’s nothing to execute.
Though I do agree that execution is worth millions… if it’s backed by realistic planning and thoughtful strategy.
Do I love digital strategy, SEO, and freelancing? Yes.
But I don’t tweet about it THAT much because, honestly, I don’t have groundbreaking ideas. I grind and do the work and make things happen, but I’m not a thought leader.
And that’s okay.
10 Warning Signs Your Content Writer or Agency Is Full of S*** 🧵
Met with a friend yesterday, and it broke my heart to see their brand having been absolutely taken advantage of by an “SEO writer.” Here’s my best tips to save yourself from that fate …
Number 9 will shock you
4/4 If you know anyone who might benefit from these projects (& prices!!!!), send them my way, hit me up, or learn more details at https://t.co/mlpE3GT2sq :) okay, g2g — back to the shadows.
1/4 Hey #MarketingTwitter, I’m generally a silent supporter & comfortable retweeter here but taking a leap out of the shadows for a quick moment to share a project I spun up to support our big dopey dog Linus — he had a stroke a couple weeks ago & is currently a paraplegic.
3/4 I’m offering a few of my most popular marketing projects at 20% discounts for anyone who commits in the month of September. I’ve pushed these out for small biz & bigger brands but my sweet spot is local businesses who need direction on what to do online.
2/4 Linus has a good shot at recovery (yay) but rehab for a 2.5 year old Great Dane ain’t cheap (womp). Enter: The Linus Project. AKA a Hail Mary at refilling our puppy funds to keep his therapy rolling.
Just an @AndrewPrince16 appreciation tweet for challenging me to think differently for my clients.
Everyone needs someone who pushes you to try new things, especially as a #freelancer. Too easy to get stuck doing what’s comfortable.
Pro tip: Asking a freelancer what they charge but not explaining what you need to be done is like asking what it costs to eat in a restaurant. I don't know, are we going to McDonald's or Jean George?
