In July and Aug, the @SMART-Init wrapped up 2 Regional SMART Survey Manager Trainings. Participants convened in Zambia and the Philippines to hone their skills.

Newly certified survey managers are now set to implement SMART surveys across Southern Africa and Southeast Asia.

After a declared emergency due to drought in Zambia, @SMART_Init & @GNCGENEVA conducted 7 SMART surveys across 6 provinces using the SMART+ digital infrastructure. 📱

Data was collected during May & 15 survey managers received training to enhance skills & decision-making. 📊

Exciting news! In April, the @SMART_Init and @acfcanada, alongside the US @CDCgov piloted the new GPSSample app in Kenya.

This Android app streamlines household listing and sampling during surveys, reducing bias and filling a critical gap in global data collection. 📊🌍
