Loved this honest trip down founder memory lane with @JeffreyChernick

We hit some of the hardest questions I faced over the years.

When should you sell your company?

How do you evaluate building or buying new products?

Was I the right person to be running Splice 8 years in?

I also shared some deep stories of losing my father while running Splice, leading during COVID, losing my home in the palisades fire while running SuppCo. Along with some experiences that have most impacted views on religion and life as a whole.

Lot’s of emotions in this one and views on the impact of AI from over a year ago.

@imjaredz Torture! How many can you parallelize? My lid half open guy walking around in public period was very short, can't go back.

I've been using the website saved as a PWA to my home screen for months. Can't wait to see what this unlocks.

Devin Mobile is now available in beta.

I’ve been a user and fan of Devin since March 2025. Incredible to watch the progress to date and you can feel the acceleration. Congrats on the milestone.

[Cognition @cognition]

Cognition has crossed $1B in annualized revenue run rate.

This milestone belongs to our customers. Here's how a few of them are building with Devin.

[Steve Martocci @smart]

@obie “My focus has become how do I make this business as successful as possible”

The focus missing from too many engineers who just “came to write code”

Time to 'think different', it's not just an iOS simulator in the cloud it's a full Mac with iOS, tvOS, CarPlay and a web browser you can drive. You can build and verify end to end, you can take over and control, and you can do it from anywhere.

[Cognition @cognition]

Special delivery: Devin just got a Mac 🍎

Now Devin can:
1. Build & test apps on its own Mac VM with iOS simulator
2. Send a screen recording via Slack
3. Send a TestFlight link so you can start using it 📲

Honest question, who's getting their sperm tested in his age group? I had similar "off the charts" results when I did a sperm backup at 30, but the only people I knew getting tested were people with fertility strugglers or upcoming cancer surgery. I was also "off the charts" when I found even minor amounts of heart plaque at 35, because there was no one in my age group with data.

@imjaredz Truth, and we don't want to think about what to use for what task so... Fusion

[Steve Martocci @smart]

@imjaredz Devin saved to your Home Screen… Much better.

[Steve Martocci @smart]

@AlmostMedia @srcasm Thanks for the love, feels good to hear.

[Steve Martocci @smart]

@HamelHusain @ScottWu46 Looks like the algo needs some Devin.

[Steve Martocci @smart]

@geoffwoo I will happily accept that I’m not Elite but there’s nothing I won’t throw at it, Ultra mode if I’m nervous.

[Steve Martocci @smart]

@ScottWu46 @HamelHusain Fascinating, I haven’t read the research yet but I’ve been wildly successful with 0-1 with Devin. Couldn’t imagine a better way to get started. Most of it can be done from your phone when inspiration hits. Just some env setup in a few places outside of it.
