Since June 27th, CCTV cameras have been actively monitoring traffic violations in Karimnagar. This initiative aims to enhance safety, prevent accidents, and streamline traffic flow.

Union Minister of Housing and Urban Affairs and Power, Shri Manohar Lal, launched the 24x7 Water Supply Pilot Project in three zones of Karimnagar today. With a total investment of ₹18 Crore, this project aims to provide continuous access to clean water for local residents. The initiative, which includes the installation of HDPE pipes, water meters, and other essential infrastructure, marks a significant step toward modernizing the city’s water supply system.

Students from Government High School, Mukrampura, Karimnagar visited Integrated Command and Control Center (ICCC) in Karimnagar Smart City on 19-08-2022. They were briefed about the surveillance cameras that are being deployed in Karimnagar Smart City.
The ICCC in Karimnagar Smart City is currently integrated to 44 surveillance cameras commissioned under Smart city initiative and existing cameras operated by the Police department.
Smart Cities Mission has a total outlay of ₹1,80,884 lakh crores. Total work orders worth ₹1.80 lakh crore across 7638 projects issued. 3926 projects worth Rs. 64,612 crores completed while 3712 projects worth ₹1,16,272 lakh crores under implementation.
