I’m gonna be real with you, some of you need to hear this because I get asked about it a lot.

People often ask me, “Why am I not getting any interaction on Twitter when I have so many followers?”

When I check their account, I see they’re following back almost everyone who follows them. This makes their account look like a follow for follow page, and a lot of those followers might not actually care about their content.

I’m not saying this is always the case, but most of the time, it is. You should build a following based on your content, personality, and what makes you unique. Stop doing follow for follow, it’s not helping you grow in a meaningful way.
