Adanna tried something and she found it boring, so therefore it’s thrash, ordained by her sovereign authority and anybody who dares enjoy it is being herded.
Oh my God!
She’s so cool, and edgy, and different!
Clear road for her excellency!
Say nah “thier”. Brainiac.
😂
Yesterday made it 10 years since I became a doctor, and I was a little down. I realised I hadn't achieved everything in my "Where do you see yourself in 10 years?" journal.
I remember writing:
1. Married.
2. Had 3 kids.
3. Written 5 books: 2 medical, 3 non-medical.
4. Finished residency and became a Fellow (in paediatrics. Lol.)
5. Fulfilling purpose.
(There was a very specific picture in my mind of where I thought I'd be by now, purpose-wise.)
So many times, we make plans, but life doesn't always work according to those plans.
Later at night, I kept reflecting, and it hit me that there were so many other things that weren't in that plan, that I had still been able to achieve.
And for those, I am grateful.
Because 10 years later, it has become:
"The surgeon will see you now."
I may still be a member of the West African College of Surgeons.
I may not have written those 5 books yet.
I may not have become everything I imagined I would be by now.
But I'm here.
I'm a surgeon.
I'm a wife.
I'm a mother.(to 3 kids anyways, if I add my ward)
I'm still becoming.
Sometimes, the life you planned isn't the life you end up living.
And that doesn't automatically mean you failed.
Sometimes, you need to pause long enough to notice things working for your good.
A platform I never wrote in that journal, now reaching people I may never meet in person.
A keynote speaking invitation that would have sounded impossible to 10-years-ago me.
Leadership roles that I couldn't have imagined occupying.
Prayers that were answered differently than I asked.
Battles I survived that never made it onto any list.
The woman I became through it all.
"Thank You, Lord." just came out of my lips automatically.
I might still be a member of the West African College of Surgeons.
But it is not nothing, not at all. ❤️

Hi,
“That political party” is currently recruiting influencers by the way.
Was offered 1 million naira per post for 4 posts which I found really ludicrous.
Y’all are about to witness so many levels whitewashing in the coming weeks.
Do with this what you will.
This is the Cordinator @elijahnoah8 being arrested by more than 5 fully armed police officers on Independence day. His only crime was coming to check out the start off point for the march. This is how undemocratic AkwaIbom state government under the APC has become.
@drhephzibah1 I feel changing ur DP now will affect ur engagements sha, coz ppl are most likely to engage when they see the DP and not name sef.
With this ur dp now, even if u change name some ppl might not notice easily.
Can't say the same for DP
You’re subbing the man who was a chairman of a bank at 34, and was a governor at 44. I’m certain you’re probably in your mid to late 40s and the only position you’ve held is the chairman of the animal kingdom.
