Graduated at 25.
Not because the course was a 6-year program but because ASUU kept pressing pause.
During strikes/holidays:
• you stayed home
• flexed holidays
• clubbed
• played games
• waited for school to resume
No skills learned.
No leverage built.

Then NYSC came.
You taught English and Maths for one year.
Still no skill.
Still no real world experience.
Just notes you crammed and forgot after exams.
Now reality hits.

You have:
• no experience
• no in demand skill
• nothing school taught you that the market pays for

But somehow:
₦100k jobs are “beneath you”
Internships are “exploitation”
Jobs outside Lagos or Abuja are “not an option”
So you stay home.
Waiting for the perfect opportunity.
Two years later, you’re 28.
No longer entry level.
Still unemployed.

No one told you adulthood doesn’t reward potential.
It rewards preparation.

You will learn this lesson.
The only question is how painful it will be.
