Bad take. He “left his feet,” jumping UP, transferring his momentum upward vs into Vargas. Lowering shoulder would transfer energy INTO Vargas. That’s not what he did. He also extended his arms, dissipating the shock of the collision. This is just not how an athlete try’s to maximize the hit on someone.
