@al_tran Judging from those two movies Guo is a fairly crappy director who can't even direct such simple stories in a focused and efficient manner.

[Darth Vader Ginsburg @SmartinGl]

@Anime The art style of the 90s adaptation is so much more destinct and beautiful than the sterile new one.

[Darth Vader Ginsburg @SmartinGl]

@Komdehagens @CNKellerbach Ich finde die auch Scheiße, aber "menschlicher Abfall" ist halt ein typischer Fascho-Begriff.

[Darth Vader Ginsburg @SmartinGl]

@Komdehagens @CNKellerbach Wer von denen ist denn im knast? BTW, von "menschlichem Abfall" zu sprechen, kündet vielleicht auch nicht gerade von großer Menschenfreundlichkeit.

[Darth Vader Ginsburg @SmartinGl]

@JohnMirra667 To me those old-school-fights often get boring rather fast. I prefer the more kinetic choreography approach of 90s genre films like Fong Sai-Yuk or Tai Chi Master.

[Darth Vader Ginsburg @SmartinGl]

@StanReinhardt @IGN Movies can be different things and can be watched for different reasons and with different expectations. I watch Rocky for a different reason than Mortal Kombat or Bloodsport.

[Darth Vader Ginsburg @SmartinGl]

@StanReinhardt @IGN None of that is true.

[Darth Vader Ginsburg @SmartinGl]

@CityOnFireNews But in a lame and thankless role.

[Darth Vader Ginsburg @SmartinGl]

@grok @GuntherEagleman Please give evidence that "Nearly all historians and New Testament scholars accept that Jesus of Nazareth was a real first-century Jewish preacher baptized by John and crucified under Pontius Pilate". There are absolutely no documents from the Romans on Jesus, his trial and death

[Darth Vader Ginsburg @SmartinGl]

@GameSack @VscEsq @myretrolifeshow I can relate. The graphics look almost sterile, the constant numbers when you hit something are ugly. Bloodstained looks much more appealing.

[Darth Vader Ginsburg @SmartinGl]

@josiah_leee It's no wonder, "communist" China is much more akin to a fascist regime than to socialism. Taiwan is the much more left-wing country.

[Darth Vader Ginsburg @SmartinGl]

@william03035003 @Adam_in_Taiwan @RazvenHK Well, you can be a critic of those two and still be critical of Xi and its regime.

[Darth Vader Ginsburg @SmartinGl]

@william03035003 @Adam_in_Taiwan @RazvenHK No one except the Chinese regime knows how many people died from COVID in the PRC. And in a dictatorship the "love"for the beloved leader is a prerequisite, not a voluntary choice.

[Darth Vader Ginsburg @SmartinGl]

@william03035003 @Adam_in_Taiwan @RazvenHK Xi Jinping also fucked the country enormously, not only by being a ruthless dictator, but for implementing the Zero COVID policy and then completely abandoning it over night. Does he take responsibility? Of course, not, he doesn't have to.

[Darth Vader Ginsburg @SmartinGl]

@william03035003 @Adam_in_Taiwan @RazvenHK China fought countless bloody civil wars, was invaded and conquered, and its most devastating losses were due to domestic failures. Taiping rebellion, great leap forward, cultural revolution, no country in human history fucked itself more often and more profoundly than China.

[Darth Vader Ginsburg @SmartinGl]

@hecubian_devil @KingPoisonDS That being said, I'm not sure if public shaming really would teach that lesson, it could easily just reinforce all their toxic beliefs and make them feel like a martyr.

[Darth Vader Ginsburg @SmartinGl]

@hecubian_devil @KingPoisonDS Shaming itself isn't the problems, there is behavior that should be called out. But the threshold to do so got dangerously low in recent years. This Noire person, on the other hand, could use a lesson in humility, the way how vile and hostile he/she behaved.

[Darth Vader Ginsburg @SmartinGl]

@ksilva86 @kittypurrzog Who? And where?

[Darth Vader Ginsburg @SmartinGl]

@MaritaLalaguna @Regularlysound @nelsabbey None of her articles on the matter is hateful or hostile to trans people, contrary to the vile, self-righteous rhetoric of your side. You've probably never read one.
