Aging is the aggressive pursuit of comfort. The more we chase comfort, the faster our bodies break down. Want to stay young? Embrace discomfort daily—sweat, challenge your mind, endure the cold. Real growth happens outside the comfort zone.

All across America, college students are out drinking and partying with no worries in the world.
These @WestPoint_USMA college students are training to defend America by hiking 18.6 miles with a 35 lb. backpack in the freezing rain to build stamina, grit, and perseverance.
Maybe things have changed (I don't think they have). If you went on the mat with something taped up, the other guys was going after it. Within the rules, whistle to whistle, you are fair game. No one feels sorry for you. This sport is primal. It's a survival of the fittest from start to finish. You get tired? Too bad. You aren't 100%? too bad. If you are the slowest wildebeest because you tweaked your knee, you are dinner.
Hopefully this helps some understand the mentality and the mindset of the college wrestler. The sportsmanship is the love and respect for the fight, not to take it easy on your opponent.
