We are thrilled to announce that we won second place overall AND the Audience Favorite prize at the @DukeLawTech Demo Day 2018. What an honor! We have learned so much from this experience and our fellow participants. #legaltech#constructiontech#AccesstoJustice
@DukeLawTech For many reasons, now is the time to raise up ideas and tools focused on #accesstojustice. We are so grateful for the remarkable individuals we met through the Tech Lab. And for the (excellent) crash course in tech startup. Don't be shy! Send in that application!
Start-up friends. You have a few days left to apply for the Duke Law Tech Lab. Our participation had such a big impact on our business and also on our understanding of #legaltech and #accesstojustice You have nothing to lose by applying and trying!
@inspiredcat I start every day with NPR and Reuters. Then local charts (TN DeptofHealth, Tennessean). Then Johns Hopkins, NYT, and Flourish for graphics. For law-related I go to FB groups: Girl Attorney TN and Mothers Esquire. My strategy is to grab lots of information and then synthesize.
@inspiredcat Fascinating national state by state case study. PA closes liquor stores the same day GA allows home delivery of beer and wine. As of 15 min ago Nashville Beer Board approves beer delivery.
@KevinOConnorTOH We know folks who say: “Don’t you paint that naughty pine!” A sign of 60s middle class and a well-built house. We painted over ours (it took forever). Hanging is like wall-to-wall studs. But it’s solid and classic. My guess: it will make a comeback like all mid-Century modern.

#legaltech folks: my friend Suezette Robotham shared this article via LinkedIn and I was fascinated. Can #AI improve #diversity in hiring? One thought was tying the algorithms to existing EEOC guidelines. Anyone working on this? https://t.co/yG1QghLcnH
