Recently experienced a staycation at the newly opened Roswyn, a Morgans Originals Hotel in Mumbai
And honestly, this might just be my favourite luxury stay option in Mumbai from here on.
Roswyn brings something entirely new to the city. It doesn't feel like a hotel. It feels like a personality.
A place that redefines luxury through warmth, connection and a genuine sense of belonging.

@SartanparaYash Never had to. I'd politely ask why it wasn't possible despite availability, not show screenshots. Availability ≠ guaranteed upgrade. Understand the reason and move on. but yes nothing wrong in asking.
There is absolutely nothing wrong with politely asking for an upgrade when you've booked directly and have earned elite status.
Your loyalty wasn't given to you. You earned it.
You have every right to ask.
The hotel has every right to say no.
As a travel advisor, I have a pre arrival email template that I use for myself and my clients. If an upgrade is available, we've had a 100% success rate so far.
No guarantees.
No entitlement.
No arguments.
Just a polite request.
People can judge all they want. It costs nothing to ask respectfully, and sometimes it can completely transform your stay.
Be polite. Ask bindass. The worst they can say is no 🙂 Check all my quoted posts below and see the memories made , it's just a request that can go a long way. 🧵
Another win as a travel advisor!🥳
This time, secured a complimentary upgrade and VIP treatment at a Taj property, on a redemption stay using Amex Taj vouchers! Everyone knows how tough Taj upgrades are, but my email request template worked seamlessly.
This one was special, and the client’s review after the stay made it even better ⭐️
📲DM me to book your next VIP stay and unlock these perks, plus get access to my email template for future stays! (also available via amex referral link) ✨
Well, the 2.5% returns that i-D FC First gave on cc bill payments were so ridiculously good that even after stopping 1.5 years ago, I'm still enjoying free Uber rides from the rewards 😄
Already redeemed around ₹1L worth of Taj stays and still have a substantial reward balance left.
That said, the current 1.6% uncapped miles isn't bad either.
This month alone:
✈️ ~12k ER from cc bill payments
💰 ₹8k cashback via HD F C Rewards dc
H-S BC's 5% route unfortunately isn't working this month, otherwise that would've stacked beautifully too.
I've said this before and I'll say it again.
Debit card reward opportunities don't last forever.
Enjoy them while they last. 👀
✨ Emirates Skywards Gold is here! ✈️

One benefit I'm especially excited about is the exclusive invitations to Emirates sponsored events and VIP experiences.
With Emirates being Arsenal's principal sponsor, I'm secretly hoping something Arsenal related lands in my inbox someday... that's definitely on the bucket list! ❤️⚽🤞🧿
Emirates Skywards Silver ✅ upgraded + 10k Skywards miles credited within 2 days of fee payment.
Some key Silver perks:
• 30% bonus miles on Emirates flights
• Complimentary seat selection

• 12kg excess baggage allowance
• Biz Class Lounge access in Dubai

Already hit 50k Emirates revenue, so Gold status should follow with 15L spends by next year.
If you have ₹2.5L+ net salary or ₹40L+ ITR and want this card, follow & DM. Approval is very slow, so patience is key.
✈️ 52,500 bonus Air India Maharaja Points credited!
Had transferred 105k points from my SBI Air India card during the recent 50% transfer bonus offer.
Didn't transfer anything from my EPM as this seemed enough for now. Prefer keeping those points idle for last minute inflated revenue bookings where award availability doesn't exist.
If you participated in the Air India bonus offer, check your Maharaja Club account.
🚨 Reminder to transfer your eligible points to Air India for the ongoing 50% bonus offer ✈️
📅 Valid till 31 May 2026
transferred my 105k SBI Air India points and now waiting for the ~52k bonus points to hit 👀
Don’t forget to register before transferring points 👇

🦁 My biggest points redemption yet & my biggest single booking as a travel advisor!
A ₹4L stay at Fairmont Mara Safari Club for 4 nights, all inclusive with meals and game drives, booked entirely with points! 🤯
And at the same time, I also locked in my biggest single booking ever worth ₹20L for a group trip to Maasai Mara as travel advisor.
This is probably the first time my worlds as a ccgeek and travel advisor have come together so perfectly 😄 It all started when a group of friends approached me to plan and book their entire Mara trip. After a lot of back and forth, their whole plan was finally locked in. Then they forced us to join them 😂
And since it was Fairmont Mara, the ccgeek in me was easily tempted. This has to be one of the best Accor redemptions you can possibly make, so I finally pulled the trigger.
For the group booking, managed to unlock:
🌙 1 night free
💳 $100 hotel credit per stay
✨ VIP perks and prioritized requests etc
And for my own being Accor Platinum has already got us a preconfirmed upgrade to a Deluxe Riverfront Tent with an outdoor shower, a category that would have cost around ₹1L more overall!
A ₹20L group booking on one side and a ₹4L Accor redemption on the other.
Travel advisor 🤝 ccgeek
Honestly, super excited for this one!
Have also pulled off some exciting flight redemptions with miles for this trip ✈️ Will cover those separately later 👀
Anybody here already experienced Fairmont Mara Safari Club? Would love to hear your experience and recommendations! 🦁
