Criticism is part of politics

Pantami or whoever is handling his social media account needs to do better before they completely turn him into a laughingstock.

As a public servant and a gubernatorial candidate, blocking people left, right and centre simply because they criticise you doesn’t make sense to me. To me, it gives the impression of a leader who is unwilling to engage with criticism.

People have every right to point out your weaknesses in public spaces. That is part of the accountability that comes with public office. You can’t eat your cake and have it, you chose public service, and with it comes scrutiny, criticism and opposition. That’s part of democracy.
