Correction on the ALT name for the first image; it should be Buller's Shearwater not Bulwer's Petrel. I know, there are just so many different species and easily confused! lol
The WPO expedition for @naturetrektours continues apace with visits to Vanuatu, Solomon Islands & PNG. Now heading to Micronesia before Japan. So many incredible sightings & plenty of glorious weather to watch oceanic wildlife & to make plenty of landings.
Settling in to the amazing WPO tour of Oceania from New Zealand to Japan with @naturetrektours. Currently had a landing on Norfolk Island with several endemics and three days at sea with 34 species of seabird so far!
Had fun yesterday too with a Spoon-billed Sandpiper being a particular highlight. An exciting experience for the group too for @naturetrektours as I lead my current wildlife photography tour here.
Wow, what an amazing start to my Thailand photo tour. Today was incredibly special as I located a melanistic Leopard (aka Black Panther) in Kaeng Krachan walking along a track. It vanished before coming out of the bush 5m from the vehicle! @naturetrektours
Lovely to lead the Somerset Levels Beginner's Birdwatching tour this week for @naturetrektours. A fabulous group who enjoyed the highlights of Swell Wood, Greylake, Ham Wall and Shapwick Heath. Thanks also to co-leader @arronr94.
Second winter Somerset Levels tour this year for the starling roost was usurped by a bizarrely confiding Weasel, Ring-necked Duck, Marsh Tit and Whooper Swan! @naturetrektours
Getting the group taking flight shots is always fun and the sunset cruises we do in The Gambia are one of the best ways to get close to birds. Here are a few from last night; Whimbrel, Goliath Heron, Yellow-billed Kite and Malachite Kingfisher. @naturetrektours#NaturePhotography
Lovely start to my annual photography tour to Gambia with @naturetrektours. Early light ideal for backlit photography with Whimbrel & then usual suspects Yellow-billed Kite and Senegal Parrot but a lifer for me in Rufous Cisticola!
A great birding day on 21st January with my first UK #BootedEagle in Cornwall along with only my second #BonapartesGull, Black Redstart and Long-tailed Duck. Thanks to @GriffinWildlife for driving. Super fun day out with the cameras.
Great day for waders along the coast during my Autumn Wildlife Photography Tour in Scotland for @naturetrektours. Planning to return in 2025 if you’re interested in joining me. 😊

Fantastic Gorilla trekking with my @naturetrektours group this week. A wonderfully relaxed family in perfect settings. My next tour departs in autumn 2026 if interested.
Latest tour to Cornwall for @naturetrektours. Too many highlights to mention but Beavers, Chough & Cetaceans spotted along with loads of reptiles, inverts & plants. Next tours in 2025...
