@primadonnatella The Islamic Republic is basically a neo-Safavid Empire. If you want to say “Islam ruined Iran” go back to the Sasanians which was the last pre Islamic dynasty of Iran. Not the Safavid era which created modern Shiism as we know it today and the Mullah class that rules Iran today.
