INTERESTING: MP Gakuya says Edwin Sifuna should run for President and be backed by other opposition leaders.

What's interesting is.

Gakuya wants to be the Nairobi Governor in 2027.
He also knows Babu Owino is a major force in Nairobi politics and could win.

That is why this statement caught my attention.

But here's the bigger debate.
Why can't the opposition rally behind Sifuna?

He has the energy, sharpness, and consistency needed to send Kasongo home faster than most opposition politicians currently in the field.

Few opposition leaders today generate political momentum the way Sifuna does.

Whether that happens or not, Nairobi 2027 is shaping up to be a political chessboard unlike any other.
