Right now, we have a window of opportunity. Ukraine has become stronger both on the battlefield and in the skies. Everyone sees these results made possible thanks to our warriors in the first place. I am very grateful to them.
Putin – whether he knows this or not – is certainly receiving information and understands that right now he has no advantage. He has ballistic missiles; there are indeed absolutely tragic and horrific strikes against the civilian population of our state, but this is the only advantage he has left. There is nothing else. And everyone sees this.
We spoke with President Trump, and I also met with many different leaders during the summit. Even with leaders of countries with whom I had not had a meeting before. They all note one thing: Ukraine has become stronger.

As always, a good meeting with President of the European Council António Costa @eucopresident. We discussed efforts to open the remaining five EU negotiating clusters. It is critical to advance in this direction as quickly as possible.
I am grateful to António for supporting Ukraine on its path to joining the European Union. We discussed a potential timeline for the next steps. Ukraine and our people fully deserve this. We are meeting all of our EU accession commitments and it would be fair to get clear signals of support from the EU in response.
In June alone, nearly 28,000 Russian soldiers were eliminated – and we have video confirmation for every single one of them. The overwhelming majority were struck by drones.
Frankly, we take no pride in this. We are saying it to show what modern war looks like – a war we did not start, but one we are forced to fight – in order to defend our country.

I believe Europe urgently needs its own capability to produce anti-ballistic systems and the missiles they require. We all value the Patriot system. It is an excellent system. There are others as well.
But today’s wars have shown that current Patriot production is not enough to meet the growing demand for protection against ballistic missiles. That is a fact. And we must respond to that fact.
Those who defend life need more Patriots. We have also discussed Patriot production licenses with our American partners. I ask you to support our efforts to make this happen.

I met with Mr. Lee Jae Myung @Jaemyung_Lee, President of the Republic of Korea. I am glad we had our first meeting. We are interested in productive relations with South Korea, and today we spoke about what is needed for both our countries. I am grateful for the recent decision to allocate $100 million for a comprehensive support package for our country. I instructed my team to work through everything we discussed today. Thank you.
We signed a Drone Deal agreement with Denmark. This is already Ukraine’s ninth such agreement, and it is important that more and more partners are joining this format, which opens up greater opportunities for joint defense production, the exchange of expertise, and transparency in weapons exports. Together, we are building a new security architecture. I thank Denmark, and personally Mette, for this step toward strengthening our shared defense. It was with Denmark that we began joint production in Ukraine under the Danish model, and it is absolutely fair that Denmark will now have access to Ukrainian exports of weapons tested in war.
Today, we also discussed with the Prime Minister @Statsmin the strengthening of our air defense and work on European anti-ballistic defense. It is extremely important for us right now to receive Patriot missiles as quickly as possible and to jointly develop our own European capabilities to counter ballistic threats.
I thank Denmark for its continued support for our people – for its defense and financial assistance, and for all its contributions to the PURL initiative.
This war is changing. Today, peace and victory are on the side of those who are smarter. It is very difficult for us, but our fighters have stopped the war on the battlefield – the line of contact – with their lives. The war continues, but the front is no longer moving. When the front line is barely moving and the enemy cannot advance by sea, that leaves the skies.
Today, the fight is for the skies. This is a shift in the priorities of this war. We are moving into the skies. And in the skies, we are already competitive. There is one unknown in this equation, unfortunately – anti-ballistic defense. And this is a major problem. We were unprepared; we had no anti-ballistic programs, no such Soviet legacy. All of it went to Moscow and did not remain in Ukraine. We had no nuclear weapons, and without them, you are not in that “club.” You are in the club of those who can be attacked.
In the skies today, smarts will prevail. I am absolutely certain of that. If our partners do not abandon Ukraine when it comes to funding our resilience, if our guys soldier on and keep holding the battlefield, and if every kilometer costs the Russians tens, if not hundreds, of thousands of troops, then we will fight for the skies. Because the skies will be the crucial factor in this war. Whoever is smarter is stronger, and that’s who will win.

Last night, Kyiv came under a massive Russian attack. Russia launched 68 missiles and 351 attack drones. Response efforts are still underway. Damage has been recorded at more than 10 locations across the city, including residential buildings. All necessary services are on the ground, doing everything possible to rescue people and provide assistance to everyone who needs it. So far, 64 people have been rescued, including two children. As of now, it has been confirmed that, tragically, eleven people were killed in this attack. My condolences to their families and loved ones. Around 60 more people were injured.
In the Kyiv region, sixteen people were injured and three people were killed. My condolences to their families and loved ones. A fire is still burning at the site of the missile strike in Vyshneve. People are being evacuated from a residential area. More than 400 first responders and police officers have been deployed to deal with the aftermath of the attack.
Our warriors performed well today in intercepting drones and cruise missiles, but unfortunately not Russian ballistic missiles. And the reason lies in the insufficient supply of interceptor missiles. It is critically important that the world – first and foremost the United States and our European partners – come out of the NATO Summit in Ankara with strong decisions in support of our air defense, and thus the protection of ordinary people’s lives. As long as Patriot missiles remain in our allies' stockpiles, Russia is only encouraged to keep “vanquishing” residential buildings. The United States and Europe have enough strength to stop this terror.
During our meeting in Ankara, Prime Minister @KristenMichalPM of Estonia and I signed a defense cooperation agreement under the Drone Deal framework. This agreement is not only a way to accelerate cooperation between our countries. It is also a step forward and a sign of trust, as we are signing such an agreement with a very close friend, which means a lot. We will be developing joint defense production in both our countries, including key capabilities for protecting the skies.
I also briefed the Prime Minister on our diplomatic efforts. We discussed support for Ukraine on our path to the European Union, including opening the remaining five negotiation clusters. I thanked Estonia for its strong position and support on this matter. We are always grateful to Estonia for its assistance – both military and humanitarian – as well as for the steps aimed at ensuring continued support for Ukraine on our path to the EU and NATO.
I spoke with the President of France. @EmmanuelMacron clearly knows all the details of the current diplomatic prospects. And it is important that every step we take in negotiations, in putting pressure on Russia, and in bringing peace closer is as well prepared and as closely coordinated with our key partners as possible.
Our position is that Europe must be involved in the diplomatic process, and Europe’s voice must carry weight. Of course, I briefed the President on the situation on the battlefield and on the key threats. Russia is doing everything it can to continue missile and drone strikes against Ukrainian territory, against our cities and villages. We discussed our options for countering these attacks, protecting lives, and the need for additional air defense systems. We very much hope for France’s support and strong decisions. Thank you!

After years of being banned from entering a stadium in my own country, for no crime other than being a woman, this is how I walked in.
This was the World Cup FIFA 2026 between England and Panama but for me, it was beyond that.
You have to be a woman from Iran or Afghanistan to truly understand this emotion.
For whom this simple act, walking into a stadium, moving with joy, showing my hair, sitting next to men, was not just forbidden. I was beaten for it. Imprisoned for it. Humiliated for it. Exiled for it. And even in exile, I became a target for multiple assassination plots.
And now people lecture me: "Don't politicize football."
I have a question: which part of my body hasn't already been politicized by the Islamic Republic? My hair? My voice? My seat in a stadium?
They turned our entire existence into a political battlefield. Every inch of a woman was a crime scene under their law.
And now I'm supposed to just sit back, eat a hot dog, and enjoy the game?
I did enjoy the game. England won. But walking through those gates, that was the real victory.
Last night, our Ukrainian long-range sanctions against Russia over this war reached targets near St. Petersburg. Ukraine's Defense Forces struck port oil infrastructure that generates revenue for Russia's war, and there were also successful strikes on Kronstadt – an important military target. The distance from Ukraine's state border is more than 850 kilometers.
My thanks to everyone who is ensuring Ukraine's precision and carrying out our long-range sanctions plan. Glory to Ukraine!
I visited our warriors in Odesa who are undergoing treatment and rehabilitation from injuries. I spoke with defenders who fought in the Kherson, Mykolaiv, and Dnipro regions, and who defended the Kinburn Spit and the Port of Odesa. I presented them with state awards. I thank everyone for their service and for defending Ukraine.
I also met with the medical professionals who are saving the lives of our service members. They performed complex surgeries, provided surgical care under combat conditions, evacuated the wounded, and did everything possible to save our people’s lives. I thanked them for this extraordinarily important work and honored them with state awards.
I thank everyone defending Ukraine, and everyone fighting to save the lives of our warriors.
