[‍ 𝑨𝑪𝑬. @smckingaces]

naw, he’s a zombie. let him eat your brains.

[‍ 𝑨𝑪𝑬. @smckingaces]

that’s just gonna make him cling tighter, draven. just let it be.

⠀ ❛ / n o. / you’re gonna leave and then this place is gonna go down the shitter again. no thanks. ❜

[‍ 𝑨𝑪𝑬. @smckingaces]

NO YOU CANT MAKE HIM.

⠀ ❛ nu - huh. yer gonna disappear again. ❜

[‍ 𝑨𝑪𝑬. @smckingaces]

LATCHES ONTO DRAVEN.

[‍ 𝑨𝑪𝑬. @smckingaces]

it was simple but could hold some meaning.

⠀ ❛ if you don’t want it, i’ll find the receipt for it.❜

[‍ 𝑨𝑪𝑬. @smckingaces]

⠀ ❛ shoulda told me that before the holidays. ❜

truthfully, ace forgot about the present until he stumbled upon it a while ago, the ache in his chest tightening. inside the box, should angel open it, there will be a petite silver necklace with and letter ‘a’ on it. »

[‍ 𝑨𝑪𝑬. @smckingaces]

small black box is thrown at his face, a giant red bow soon to follow.

⠀ ❛ merry christmas, happy new year and now, happy birthday. ❜

[‍ 𝑨𝑪𝑬. @smckingaces]

the redhead takes little time to get comfortable, long limbs spreading out as he stretches. but the presence of the other reminds him of something, rolling over to his side to fish around on the nightstand.

⠀ ❛ here. ❜

is all the warning angel will get before a »

[‍ 𝑨𝑪𝑬. @smckingaces]

⠀ ❛ just don’t go anywhere for a while. stay and pamper me like ya should be doing. ❜

if he’s not gonna milk this for all it’s worth, he wouldn’t be ace. and it wouldn’t be so bad, right? they would both benefit from it.

⠀ ❛ c’mon, i’m tired. ❜

[‍ 𝑨𝑪𝑬. @smckingaces]

whoops.

[‍ 𝑨𝑪𝑬. @smckingaces]

you and your stupid job, it makes you a terrible boyfriend and don’t think that i forgive you. you seriously need to make up for this. ❜

[‍ 𝑨𝑪𝑬. @smckingaces]

⠀ ❛ fuck, even a postcard would have been nice. ❜

words were mumbled, the anger that he held onto bleeding out by the second, exhaustion taking its place. finally, his arms will slip around angel’s waist, face soon to be buried against his neck.

⠀ ❛ i hate »

[‍ 𝑨𝑪𝑬. @smckingaces]

much to even attempt the move. it was better than facing that empty bed again.

[‍ 𝑨𝑪𝑬. @smckingaces]

nope, he will escape if he wants. count on it.

⠀ ❛ and ya didn’t think to say something in between? no ‘sorry babe, working’ or literally anythin’ else to let me know you’re alive? ❜

he was tempted to snake out of the hold but truth be told, he missed the man too »

[‍ 𝑨𝑪𝑬. @smckingaces]

he’s greeted with a grumble at first, hands against his hips and refusing to move.

⠀ ❛ where the fuck have you been. ❜
