@JonathanOliv71 Did you get alternative @AerLingus flight home eventually? We also we rejected for compensation which don't understand....still ignoring my emails too. Off to New York next week with a proper airline, hoping for a better experience.
@SazCurran@AerLingus Sorry to read this. We had similar experience in July with @AerLingus and they clearly don't give a toss. I will 100% never use again in my life, I am sure many other impacted customers will take same action if have any sense.

@JonathanOliv71@AerLingus To add part payment for covering some expenses not all that were incurred. Had zero paid/communicated regarding compensation we are entitled to. Get sense they treat you so bad they just want you to get fed up and stop asking - not be the case for what is rightfully owed.
@JonathanOliv71@AerLingus I had a part payment made but not the full amount so short €900 still due to their cancellation. Phoned numerous times to be told they only communicate via email. So I email most days. Sorry to hear you getting even worse experience/out of pocket!
@AerLingus Still waiting for money owed since 16th July 2022 - we are now in September. Emailed many times, and nothing in response. Please help I have €900 sitting on a card due to your cancellation!
