@sweetcarolinatv@rabbriansamuel I took my staff Favor and cut it in pieces, to break my covenant which I had made with all the peoples.
โ Zechariah 11:10
No. Women already do their best to ruin marriages just for half. Everything would only encourage it. There is no such thing as a no-fault divorce. Men do not always just "change their mind". Often she does it for him.
I can agree it is not right. Both should be trying to work it out. The one not willing to work it out and perform the role of a husband to a wife or wife to a husband, should be the one who loses the most.
@Biblicalman Simple... and yet, powerful. Similar experience. Similar result. Exact same feeling. Hard to believe we almost need to live this to explain this. I pray the Lord magnifies this message so that so many do not have to live it first.
In my understanding, he created a world where they did not get cancer.
It was sin and the corruption of sin that brought the cancers of the world. In his goodness, God made a way out for those who love his laws more than the pleasures of sin and consequently walk by his Spirit and through that, put to death the deeds of the body.
That is what the Bibles says anyway...
@Toneskeee So true! Like John 3:16 says, "For God so glorified himself that he gave his only begotten son, that whosoever believes in him would not perish but have eternal life" ๐ค๐ค๐ค
Correction: God was a zionist.
If you are referring to the covenant, while you might cite God's earlier intenr, he also said,
"I took my staff Favor and cut it in pieces, to break my covenant which I had made with all the peoples."
โ Zechariah 11:10
If you read further, this was fulfilled in the betrayal of Jesus. There is no more old covenant. God broke that.
In normal languange, this statement of Jesus does not say whether it is by my choice but whether I can if I so choose. So yeah, "Most Christians" reading that, recognize that Jesus did not say "no one can choose. That is my job".
Jesus later said, "If I be lifted up I will draw all men to myself". Are all men coming? Nope.
"Most Christians" are correct and your meme only highlights the inability of the minority Christian view to understand basic communication... and you boast in it...๐คฆ๐ปโโ๏ธ
Learn to use information as it is translated and you will be able to rightly divide the word of truth.
He literally started Christianity as the single acceptable approach to God. The destruction of the temple and the city of Jerusalem were predicted to by the Jesus in response to their rejection of him. So, he also ended Judaism. He also removed the unfaithful from the remnant of Israel and added countless gentiles as citizens of Israel through their faith - a practice that is ongoing throughout history - all predicted to be by him and through him.
You are not familiar with Judaism or Christianity enough to understand why your question is asinine.
You have free access to the Bible, bud. Why not use it?
"So then, brethren, we are under obligation, not to the flesh, to live according to the fleshโ โ for if you are living according to the flesh, you must die; but if by the Spirit you are putting to death the deeds of the body, you will live."
โ Romans 8:12-13
@TheStaad That made no sense. The Thessalonians should have held to the traditions and the epistle.
There is no contradiction in that. Sola scriptura would see the traditions as being necessary based on the authority of the scripture. I do not think you thought this clearly at all.
The issue that arises in the sola scriptura debate is whether we should grant authority to early church fathers' practices or teachings.
People did a lot of things wrong for a long time after the apostles passed. Should we trust that a bunch of people doing it wrong for a long time is proof it was right? That is counter-intuitive.
Those who reject historical precedent based on lack of apostolic teaching is the most reasonable since Jesus appointed only those apostles to build his church. Everyone who rejects sola scriptura is always trying to insert a doctrine that is not clearly taught in the bible. The fact that they lean on extra biblical evidence solely is the best proof that they are incorrect.
You cannot just say it loud and/or often. It has to have authority. Quote Jesus, the apostles, the prophets, or God. But, that would be sola scriptura would it not? Lol!
Sola scriptura is easily defended from the Bible. This is why it is closer to correct though I would not say I was sola scriptura, per se.
@michaeljknowles Finally, something Christian you have said that I can agree with that is not dripping with your catholic elitism.
Your opinion is more popular than you think.
@HOLINESSTOJESUS@farmingandJesus That's fair. I find it hard to know what to do with her categorically. I say she's Christian but she is definitely immature. I was just commenting with a hopeful tone.
@sola_chad No. Calvinism is nothing more than painting God as an unattractive incel... and so he spikes their drink. It is repulsive and moronic. Its weakness is the fact that it is nowhere taught in the Bible... only in memes.
