@StephenGutowski @daveweigel It was reported on CNN earlier in the day that the first two officers retreated because they were shot and bullets were coming through the cinder wall. Obviously early info, now corrected as with much other details (19 officers, same weapons, etc…)

@StephenGutowski @daveweigel The 2 officers approached the classroom w/ bullets COMING THROUGH the concrete cinder block wall. They were OUTGUNNED, by a legally obtained weapon of war. Yes, doors, locks, security fences, etc,but must address the untenable situation they faced with this high powered weapon
