@MsKelCan As department chair, this is my current role. One of my goals in this role is to empower my teachers to replace me. PD, collaboration opportunities and modeling, and unifying the department so everyone feels seen and supported are my priorities, in addition to the other stuff.
@MsKelCan Q2: Modeling is big because is suggests willingness for others to observe. “Come and see.” It also provides opportunities for collaboration, which builds community in a building. The longer I teach, the more valuable I find collaboration to be. For everyone.

@HSG_UT A4. My personal barrier to leadership is self-esteem and confidence. Crippling at times. BUT my association with the lions of Cohort 4 will build me up. Hopefully vice versa. #eduhive
