"I have reviewed the documentation you provided and believe that the courts that have ruled on your case have violated the European Convention on Human Rights (ECHR) for several reasons.
@GeorgieBeeHive@scoreboardvilla@giornothegoat I haven't had lawyers since December. The one I hired for the ECHR is Italian and charges less for the whole appeal than many barristers in England do for a hearing 😂
I'm sure failing to enforce whatever damages she's awarded in Portugal will bother her quite a bit 😏
@scoreboardvilla@GeorgieBeeHive@giornothegoat So now there'll be more hearings, more costs and in the end she won't get a penny.
BTW, she won't have to (and can't) do anything in the European Court proceedings. It's a complaint against English courts.
@scoreboardvilla@GeorgieBeeHive@giornothegoat 5 appeals lmao. I tried to appeal once and couldn't get permission. There wasn't even an appeal hearing.
Then DD's lawyers said she likely wouldn't pursue damages if I didn't. I decided not to. Next thing I know she's asking for 200k in damages.
@GeorgieBeeHive@giornothegoat You do realise DD's the one prolonging this by pursuing damages for the counterclaim and my best bet is to revert the decision?
A few days ago, we worked on a similar case to yours. We can utilize the research and work we have already done for that previous case and add further defenses that we have prepared specifically for your case.
Your case is of particular importance."
