After a recent tasting I picked up a cheeky knock off. The @royal.jamaican Ginger Beer was a hit. Straight out of Kingston. Home brew style, fermented to dryness using fresh ginger. Refreshing, spicy with a good ginger heat!

WBW - 2018 Domaine Lucien Jacob Aligoté from Burgundy. A little known variety is a X BTW Pinot & Gouais. In the shadow of Chardonnay, Aligoté was seen in the 18th c and apart from making whites , is often used in the production of Crémant de Bourgogne.

This week marked the last load of fruit for 2023 to hit the winery. With only 2 ferments and the Muscat left to press off, it will be 56 consecutive, twelve+(++) hour days to take beautiful berries and transform them into, memorable and delicious wines.
