@bosuntijani @eGovFoundation That is where the spread of NIPOST comes in handy. Leveraging on the spread of post offices, it can be made a one stop shop for all govt services. The advantages are ease of doing business, financial, social and digital inclusion of rural areas most especially.

@Enoughjeanss The private sector is profit oriented, NIPOST in private hands, will end up like the banks. Only viable locations will have their presence thereby excluding rural areas and some cities that are not viable. NIPOST shld be a tool for social and financial inclusion for the govt.

@proxyvibes To attempt answering the question, it is important to note that this budget is/was to be funded by the revenue the organization generates and not to be funded from government coffers. Backlog of debt, decayed infrastructure n archaic equip hv made sure de don't generate.
