@boss_on_here I got so curious a couple of years ago that I donated blood just so I could find out. They update the Red Cross app with it a few days after
@filmbitten YES. i think it’s possible for social media discourse to make certain ppl blur the line between enthusiasm and expertise. and when overconfident film bros run into that they start to conflate their personal opinions/reactions with carefully crafted statements by scholars/critics
@_BeeHolder_@nienna121 you just said you want to clear it up fully, so i mentioned the modern technology. again i respect you not wanting to use certain products, but i just linked something that outlines how those claims are faulty. with solid citations, written by an actual expert in the field
@_BeeHolder_@nienna121 i respect your journey, but there’s no real reason to avoid parabens. they’re very effective and the supposed risks involved with them are largely fearmongering. check out this cosmetic chemist’s breakdown of the common claims (full of great references): https://t.co/5AeNe5Lx2i
@_BeeHolder_@nienna121 i’ve been prescribed a topical medication called Rhofade for the last few years that helps mine a lot! when i can afford to i’m gonna get it treated with lasers. it’s just blood vessels so reducing their appearance is all that’s needed
